The Art Club is a friendly club open to artists of all abilities. Membership is open to all and if you are a beginner or someone who would like to begin painting or drawing we have experienced artists on hand to help you and give advice. We will also supply you with whatever materials you need to get started whether that be oils, acrylics, water colours etc.
Members have the opportunity to exhibit their work through the many local exhibitions and details of these are given through the club. We also, weather permitting, get out and about to take part in some outdoor sketching sessions.
The atmosphere is always welcoming and there is always time in the evening for a cuppa, a biscuit and some chat. While there are no membership fees there are dues of £1 per session to cover heat and light.
I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it.
