Our Railway Club is open to all interested in Model Railways regardless of whether you have a layout of your own or have years of experience. You don’t need to know anything about model railways or own a layout to become a member. The Club is a great way to learn about Model Railways and meet with others. A broad knowledge of building and running model railways exists within the club.

Over the years the members have built a large 00 gauge scale layout representing Greenisland Station during the steam era. In 2019 work began to expand this to almost double its size with additional track, electrics and scenery.

Each night includes work on expanding the layout, videos of other model railway layouts and discussion sessions. Many members also attend railways exhibitions in Ireland with some also travelling to Glasgow for the huge three day Association of Model Railway Societies Scotland exhibition (last weekend in February). Details regarding exhibitions and other events are given regularly on Club nights.

There is a small annual membership fee and club dues of £1 per night.

The impossible could not have happened, therefore the impossible must be possible in spite of appearances.
